Measurement Canada Update

Measurement Canada, an agency of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, is responsible for ensuring accuracy in the selling of measured goods, developing and enforcing the laws related to Traceability of measurement, Approval of devices used in measurement trade, Initial inspection or verification of these devices prior to being placed in service, Monitoring or periodic inspection of these devices and handling complaints or disputes.

This presentation will provide an update on upcoming priorities and future activities and highlight the importance of collaboration and partnership with Measurement Canada’s key stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of new emerging and innovative products, including the important and essential gas sector, while protecting consumers and contributing to a fair and efficient marketplace.
